Mekoryuk Dancers

A crowd favorite, but after a bit of a tumultuous road, they are back dancing again. This group, of all groups, shows the power of tenacity over adversity. They were with us several years ago, but circumstances prevented them from continuing their program. Now they are back as good as ever. We are so glad for them to hear the sound of Yur’aq on the Island!

And Here Come the Photos

What a busy weekend! We are all tired, but there is still work to do! In addition to gathering photos of all of the groups, we also ran Miss Cama-i and Mr. Cama-i and a few other things. It was a great Cama-i Festival and all of us are so thankful for everyone that participated in the event. Now to the task at hand– Photos!
